North American Championships getting ready to start NY!

“Tommy Gunn” is kicking off the 2007 North American Championships with his event at Route 3 on the Black River! Always a great party, always a great competition, I can’t believe I am missing this event!!!! The Event is held at the Route 3 Wave, a 3 foot super smooth standing wave that is perfect for the New Star series! Much of Team JK has already arrived there, with Stephen Wright, Clay Wright, Emily and Dane Jackson, Nick Troutman, and Ruth Gordon (all World Medalists between the World Championships and the World Cup!) I’ll be particularly bummed to miss this event if Tommy Gunn puts on a live performance! You can hear Tommy Gunn original music in the EJ’s Strokes and Concepts, Rolling and Bracing, and River Running DVDs.

The second competition is the following weekend on the Ottawa River, with a little luck on the Garberator! This event will be hosted and run by Ottawa Kayak School (www.ottawakayak.com)
