Have you got any plans for the last full week in January?
How about spending nine days exploring remote rivers in Ecuador with Team
JK members Colin Kemp and Rob Terry. Why Ecuador? Well it’s beautiful,
there are a lifetime’s worth of rivers to explore and Small World Adventures
will be putting us up in their relaxing riverside lounge on the banks
of the Rio Quijos. Why January, it’s winter here and it’s summer there
’nuff said. Why Small World Adventures? The Lodge is amazing the food
is fantastic and Larry, Don and Darcy know the Rivers of Ecuador better
than anyone in the world, they even wrote the book; seriously it’s called
"Kayaker’s Guide to Ecuador". Why Colin and Rob? Well, between
them they’ve got a combined 29 years of paddling experience and 18 years
teaching/guiding. Rob started teaching commercially in the DC area in
the mid nineties, went on to teach Paddling at George Mason, Spent four
years instructing with the Voyageur Program at St. Albans School and now
is leading trips and teaching around the globe with Adept Descents. Colin
has been working in the paddling Industry since 1996 working as an instructor,
retail buyer, team paddler and company rep, and is now running Valley
Mill boats outside of Washington DC. Jackson Kayak booth at Gauley Fest.

Paddle Smart!
