I met John several years ago when he was a student
at my clinics at Ottawa Kayak School. He was there with his dad. A year
later, I was excited to see that he made the junior team for the UK. A
year after that, he made the senior team, awesome! John is a wonderful
person, growing up from a kid to an adult in a short time, I see lots
of potential in this guy. Look for him tearing it up next summer in the
World Cup, or just shredding the Hurley wave at home!
