A day on Cane Creek by Will Richardson | Feb 24, 2006 | Whitewater | 0 comments By Stephen Wright Learn more about Stephen here February 24, 2006 Clay, Dane, and I got out to enjoy the fruits of the recent rain yesterday. After studying the gauges and discovering a dead truck, we decided to head to a local classic: Cane Creek. This was my first time down the creek, and it is FUN! Lots of high-quality boulder water, which begins in the pool below a spectacular 80-foot falls! The hike down is extremely steep and has a large cable set as a hand-line. What a beautiful put-in! Anyway, it was warm, it was fun, and it was dark before we took-out. Thanks to Jen for shuttle-bunnying for us 🙂 Enjoy the short vid.
