Annie-Pier Marchand Update

Great news! I was told a few weeks ago that there was an open spot on the Canadian women freestyle team. Since I competed in the team trials last year, I was offered to take the spot. So here I am on my way to Switzerland for the World championships with Zack who will be competing in the squirt boating event!

This opportunity came up at the last minute, so I’m trying to make up for a year of training in a month! I’ve been paddling every day in my new Star and I can’t believe how much I have improved in such a short time. I finally feel like I have a boat that is suited for my body and that I can throw around easily.
