I live in East Texas and cut my teeth on Lake Fork and have been bass fishing competitively since I was 10 years old. I have a wife and 3 daughters and they motivate me to pass down my knowledge. My faith is a huge part of my life and I am centered around it. I started East Texas Kayak Fishing 2 years ago and we run one of the bigger trails in Texas. Since moving over to a kayak I have added way more weapons to my arsenal and I have concentrated more on little nuances vs speed fishing. My favorite part of kayak fishing is the fellowship and passion we all share. My favorite techniques are frog fishing and pitching’ a jig into heavy timber! Both of those require big braid and a heavy rod, it’s a rush. My personal best bass is 12.2 and I caught her when I was 11 years old! That’s a memory that will never fade.
