I have been fishing since childhood, like many others. I grew up in southern California and grew up fishing the Sierras and local mountains with my dad and fishing the piers of the southern California beaches and local lakes with my grandfather, some of my fondest memories, when I grew older I ran from the madness of so-cal for the tranquility of the Rockies, landing in Steamboat Springs where I chased trout with the fly rod for many years, and eventually started guiding for a friends outfitter. Moved to Sonoma county in northern California, and I started seeing these kayaks fishing off the coast, floating the Russian river for steelhead and the local lakes for bass, well that was it I had to have one, and well the rest is history, that was six years ago, and I can honestly say that it is a very rare occasion that I do not fish out of a kayak, whether it be for giant lingcod, rock fish and king salmon off the rugged northern Californian coast, sturgeon in San Pablo bay and it‘s tributaries, steelhead in the Russian river or bass on the many different lakes. As they say have kayak will travel,
