My name is Daniel Ingram I am a husband, father, pastor and kayak fishing addict. My father and uncle both introduced me to my love of fishing when I was just old enough to hold a fishing pole. I grew up just a few minutes from Smith Mountain Lake where I spent a lot of time stripper fishing when I wasn’t fishing our family pond at home. My childhood pastor Jim Opetaia-Williamson introduced me to paddling and that soon became a passion along with fishing.
Moving forward many years to 2012 my wife bought me my first kayak which was a Jackson Coosa and I haven’t looked back since. With that I started exploring a lot of local streams, rivers and lakes. It was during this time I started bass fishing again mostly for smallmouth since I am a bit of a river rat. My passion for paddling and fishing now have become one beautiful addiction. Since that first Coosa I have expanded my fleet so I can share time on the water with my family and friends.
Moving to current day I am working for MEFCOR Outdoors a local Jackson Kayak dealer in Southwest Virginia, pastor two small churches and am a co-owner at G.O.A.L. Outdoors where we teach paddling as A.C.A paddle instructors. My hope is through all these things I can build relationships and share my love for the outdoors, especially kayaking and fishing. I am blessed to be a part of this industry and sport and look forward to helping advance it in any way that I can. Being a part of the Jackson Kayak fishing team is an honor and I am proud to be apart of the Jackson Kayak family. Hope to see you on the water!
