Born and Raised in Syracuse NY, AKA the great white north, record snowfall was a more common headline than warmth and sunshine. Randy may have grown up spending more time on snow than the water, but after perusing a career in winter-sports he realized there was a lot more adventure to be had in his slower summer months. With a family rooted in "sportsman" traditions, he is no stranger to fishing, but for nearly a decade now he has made it his "Job" to pursue any species he can from his kayak. Now living with his family including a young son in Buffalo NY, on the shores of Lake Erie and the Niagara River, he is no stranger to big water and spends much of his time chasing trophy Smallmouth Bass from his Jackson Kayaks. He is also one of the tournament directors of Kayak Anglers Of Central NY, and does a fair amount of traveling and tournament fishing. He enjoys spreading the excitement and adventure of kayak fishing to all, and looks forward to showing the ropes to his son.
