As a native of Sacramento, California, I have been chasing trout and bass in the Sierra Nevada Mountains sense I was as a teenager. A few years ago I left the bank and opted for a kayak. With that decision my life changed forever. From the amazing people that the kayak fishing community has brought in to my life, or the incredible scenery I have been fortunate enough to paddle and explore, I owe it all to kayaking. As a new kayak fishing guide in Northern California, I look forward to putting smiles on my clients faces while doing what I love. I advanced my kayaking skills last year and entered my first kayak bass fishing tournament. I was able to qualify for the kayak bass fishing finals in Paris, Tennessee. You can catch me posting on numerous forums as RipnLips916 but on Facebook find me at California canoe and kayak fishing team page. You can catch me fishing from my Sunrise Cuda12 on the Sacramento and American rivers as well as Delta waterways. I look forward to getting into some salt water fishing from my Jackson Kraken in the near future. Not only an avid kayak angler and huge promoter our sport, I created the Sacramento River Clean Up, where we team up with local boaters, kayakers and bikers to clean up our river banks. We host an annual fishing derby and trash pickup contest.
