11 Year old Lauren Burress sends in her Ocoee Trip update where she met some other kids to paddle by Will Richardson | Jan 1, 1970 | Kid's Kayaks, Whitewater | 0 comments August 16, 2007 Hi Guys, Over the weekend I paddled the Ocooe with my great friend Kincaid and his Dad Jonathan Wurl. I went to the Ocoee to let a 14 year old boy (Zach Darby) demo my pink shooting star to see if he liked it vs. his Fun 1.5. Him and his Dad (Jason Darby) live in Knoxville and have been unsuccessful in finding one to Demo for him. I took the plunge and gave Pinky up for the day to let Zach paddle it on the Ocoee. I paddled his 1.5. He loved the boat and is psyched about getting one of his own. He and his Dad are super cool and I can’t wait to paddle with them again. Kincaid and his Dad were awesome enough to help out since my Dad has an AC Separation of his shoulder right now and can’t paddle for another week. See you guys soon.
