More creeking action from 17 year old Nick Troutman! by Will Richardson | Jun 4, 2006 | Rockers, Whitewater | 0 comments June 4, 2006 By Nick Troutman. Learn more about Nick. Hey EJ, For the past week, I have been studying and writing exams, trying to finish High School. Though, you can only study so long before getting bored. So I decided to take some study breaks. No better study break then taking out my new Rocker. So, in between studying and my exams, we have been doing a bit of creeking. We found a little slide, about an hour from Beachburg. A friend of gave us the location, so we decided to check it out. We then also found this other waterfall that we had been looking for, for about a month. It is a sweet high volume, multiple stage drop. It drops probably 70+ feet of gradient in about a 30 seconds of paddling. So we a hoping to go run that this weekend. Anyway, the Rocker has definitely been rockin’ some local stuff around here. We also run the 40 footer in Ottawa a couple times in the past two weekends. I’ll send you another update on that story. Good luck in Vail, and I’ll see you all in a couple days.
