Jackson Kayak is taking creek boating very seriously for 2007. We have put a lot of time, energy, and resources into our developing creek-boat lineup. We have brought on board some of the best and most respected creek-boaters that are actively paddling today. They provide input and direction, while fully putting the designs to the test and who are not afraid of progress in the name of performance and safety.

We have Clay Wright, Ben Skookesberry, Jay Kincaid, Jesse Coombs, EJ, Stephen Wright as well as countless tidbits of input from our dealers, customers, and even our competitors as assets in the design process. Now, we have a new design, the Mega-Rocker!

Primary Purpose: Full-on Creekboat for larger boaters.

Also designed for:

  1. Lots of gear for multi-day trips
  2. a stable easy to paddle river runner for the big boater

What Clay Wright has to say about it:

“Big trips, big bones, or just big cojones, our full-sized creeker combines the winning features and high performance you expect from a Jackson Kayak along with all the essentials professional kayakers demand of their expedition equipment – in a 90 gallon package to float your big guns and all the ammo to keep the firing day after day.”

What Ben Stookesberry has to say about it:

“This looks like a solid creek/ river running machine!”

What can you expect from this creeker?

  • Bomber hull- Cross-linked and ready to take beating after beating.
  • Boat Armor Outfitting- Protecting you and your boat when you need it, and adding to the performance full-time.
  • New features for gear stowage and general user friendliness when you are on the water for extended periods.
  • A perfect balance of top end speed, acceleration, tracking, and maneuverability.
  • A dry, stable ride
  • Reserve volume for big water, a stay on the surface boat

When can you get one?

Look for the first ones shipping to a Jackson Kayak dealer near you in late October or early November!

🙂 EJ
