2007 Jackson Kayak Models “Weigh In” and so does JK Staff! by Will Richardson | Dec 10, 2006 | Rockers, Whitewater | 0 comments Photos It is a wonderful thing when after all the dust settles from a hard year’s work in R+D, the boats do what they are supposed to, the manufacturing process comes together, the final boat weights are, in fact, exactly what we hoped for, and they perform just as we had hoped. Whew! The new Fun Series and Mega-Rocker are everything we hoped for. The final weight for the boats are 1 pound less than last year’s, keeping our engineering motto “Light, Comfortable, Durable, and Dry” alive and well! We shipped out over 100 of the new boats last week and will not go below that number for the next 8 months, and will double that number here in the next 30 days! What that means is that you will see the boats arriving at a dealer near you. Here is a photo of Colorado Kayak Supply receiving a bunch of new Funs this past week! Don’t forget that behind the scenes is a dedicated, hard working, friendly, fun, and very smart group of individuals that make up the Jackson Kayak staff.
