South Mineral Creek by Will Richardson | Jul 24, 2008 | Whitewater | 0 comments By Boyd Ruppelt Photos For those that don’t know, is a classic Colorado gem… it has one of the best vertical waterfalls in the state and sports non-stop, steep, whitewater action in a beautiful and scenic gorge! It typically collects a lot of wood, but this year it was nearly completely clear of wood. With the great water levels, hot weather, and clean river bed, we couldn’t turn it down! Myself, Adam Goshorn, and Matt Wallace had to go lap it up! It’s one of the most fun sections of whitewater I’ve ever done… this one is a new favorite for sure!
