With a major rainfall event in the past week, there’s been fantastic creeking and huge play available. Friday was a great day for big-water brave wave, right here in Rock Island! Enjoy the photos of Team JK paddlers Isaac Holden, Keegan Grady, Clay, EJ, and I. We’ve been trying all kind of new combos and tricks in the last week including: flip-turn to loop, back blunt to loop, and the Wave Monkey–which is a phonix monkey on a wave (which is initiated like a cross-bow blunt). The All Star continues to rock my world. It’s been great in every hole and on every wave–I’ve never paddle a boat for this long that I couldn’t think of anything to improve!
