Rocking Out in Uganda- Short and Sweet, Yes Mom I am Alive Update! by Emily Jackson | Feb 23, 2011 | Rockstar, Whitewater | 4 comments Hey Everyone. I hope all is well back in civilization! I am still in Uganda with 3 more weeks to go! It has been an incredible experience so far and like always I cant believe how amazing this country is. They Kayaking has been fantastic. While on the lemon we are boating AT LEAST twice a day for several hours. Barely any energy for anything else… Kayaking has been going really well, as I am not training for anything in particular on the waves I have just been seeing how big I can go and which moves I can learn. The clean blunt is my new favorite and boy is it easy in our new Rock Stars. Here is a quick shot of me doing my classic puffer fish face! My paddle location is kinda odd but it was clean! Kicked the dirty blunt habit finally! Flashbacks spin around so fast its easy to get flash back pan ams. As for basic spinning and surfing the new boat adds a whole new level of fun! Jessie Stone just opened up her family planning center today where they will educate people but also offer long term methods of birth control, from vasectomies, to iud’s it will have a large impact on the people of Uganda! Good stuff! Look for more photos and videos coming soon! Happy Paddling! Emily Jackson- Troutman 4 Comments Emily Jackson on February 23, 2011 at 10:54 am Sorry I didnt have time to write more!
