First Impression of the Rockstar M by Jake Measom | Mar 20, 2011 | Rockstar, Whitewater | 0 comments Last wednesday, amid the rainy and cold weather some friends and I were able to break away from school for a late afternoon of boating on the riverdale wave in ogden, which due to the rain was flowing higher than normal for this time of year. We got down there to find a nice wave-hole, with most any move being possible. A friend from Wasatch Touring in Salt Lake brought down a demo rockstar and I hopped in it. First impression, WOW! Despite being just a bit too tall for the M, it was amazing! This boat goes bigger than any boat I’ve ever paddled. The shorter dimensions made it super easy to throw around and maneuver. The improved stiffness was definitely noticeable, as such the boat bounced HUGE! This boat felt right at home on this wave, controlled and smooth even through the erratic surges. An amazing playboat, if you haven’t tried one yet, do it! Pics coming soon… Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
