Longtime Jackson dealer, TG Canoe and Kayak, with locations in San Marcos and Austin, Texas held their annual Springs Fest demo this past weekend. The event was held at Rio Vista Park in San Marcos, TG brings out about 40 different boats for anyone to test drive during this event. The nice thing about the location of Rio Vista is that there is flat water for testing rec/touring/fishing boats, and also a man-made chute for the white water crowd. Despite cloudy conditions, attendance was good and many boats were in and out of the water. White water team member Joe Keck and I were on location Saturday to assist anyone with questions about JK boats and fishing team member Robert Matthews helped out on Sunday. I enjoyed meeting another JK team member and also Duane and his family at TG Canoe and kayak. It was also nice showing a few people the in’s and out’s of the Coosa and helping them stand and paddle for the first time ever.
