My relationship with Nixie can only be described as love. I met her in the fall of ’09 and it was love at first sight. She is my first whitewater kayak and she has taken over my life. I broke up with one girlfriend to make more time for Nixie and another one broke up with me because she was jealous. I mainly use Nixie in wisconsin, but I live near lake michigan so there is never a lack of water. My car recently broke down and I lost my paddle. Even though it drove my dad crazy without even having to think I bought a paddle and have been walking around. I am always looking for opportunities to paddle and I have decided that I can’t have a real meaningful relationship with anyone that doesn’t appreciate Nixie the same way I do. Nixie is my life, my blood, and my high. I would die without her.
