Jerry’s New Cuda at Ray Robert by Team Palovik | Mar 21, 2012 | Coosa, Cuda, Fishing, Fishing Reports | 0 comments Hello wanted to start out this article by welcoming a new Jackson Star team member Jerry Hamon. Jerry is on the Jackson Star program for one of the local Jackson Kayak dealers in Dallas, Kayak Instruction. Jerry is also a proud owner of a new Urban Camo Jackson Cuda. A little about Jerry: has been fishing since he was a young child and about 8 years ago he got “hooked” on fly fishing. He is a full-time police officer and now a part-time fly fishing guide for “small water fly fishing experiences”. Most of his fishing is done on lakes and ponds that are 75 acres or less. He fishes from a kayaks and is a proud new owner of the Urban Camo Cuda in the pictures below. He spends 200 + days a year on the water and usually fish 50 or more bodies of water per year .Jerry is a TPWD Angler Ed Area Chief and Instructor and the current President of the Red River Fly Fishers. This fishing get together was on lake Ray Roberts, this is the location for our first tournament of the year for a new tournament trail in north Texas (North Texas Trail). The new tournament trail is located here, http://northtexaskayaktrail.com/. Very excited about this new trail, already has a lot of buzz and a great bunch of people wanting to attend. The day was a little windy, water was a little stained but several of us did manage to catch a few fish. The area that we fished was filled with a lot of wildlife, got to see many birds, turtles, and fish. Very pretty area and as always a great bunch of people. Below are some pictures of the day, was nice to get to paddle once again with friends. Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
