The Coosa on Twin Valley Reservoir, Alberta by Stephen Laurie | May 25, 2012 | Coosa, Fishing | 0 comments I was lucky enough to sneak away for an a couple of hours a few days back for a quick float. I decided to take a drive to Twin Valley Reservoir ,about an hour away, to get my paddle wet and spend an hour or so in the Coosa in search of some Pike action. Located in the M.D. of Willow Creek Alberta,Twin Valley Reservoir is a relatively new reservoir with a fairly healthy Pike population. Due to its age the average size of the pike is small but there are fairly good numbers and it’s a good place to get a line wet. I was on the water for about an hour to an hour and a half and had quite a few follow-ups but was only able to get three to take. 2 were small hammer handles but one was in the 24” range and worth a pick. Here’s a bit of footage from the float. Stephen Laurie Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
