Kayak Dog in Training by Ashley | Jul 14, 2012 | Recreational/Touring, Rogue | 3 comments Tripper is our miniature dachshund puppy, who we’ve been introducing to kayaking in our Jackson Kayaks. I took him out in the Rogue recently, and he got a lot of laughs from the on-lookers. For some reason he decided there was a better view out on the bow of boat… 3 Comments jeremy shearer on July 24, 2012 at 9:20 pm I intend to use my kayak for running creeks, flatwater, class2 WW maybe class3 ww. My intention was to get a rogue 10. Would I also be able to use the rogue 10 for surf kayaking??? Reply Clay Wright on July 26, 2012 at 2:06 am Paddling in the surf and catching some waves, yes. Spinning and popping off the lip no. Expect it to surf better than just about any sea kayak or all-around boat made – carving well, riding them into the beach and able to catch waves the boards dont, but nothing like a true planing hull surf kayak or playboat. Hope this helps! Anyway – nice picture! Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
