Mississippi Mud by Robert Matthews | Aug 5, 2012 | Big Tuna, Featured Post, Fishing, Fly Fishing, JK Team Posts, Saltwater Fishing | 0 comments Took the Big Tuna out for a trip to Mississippi with the family. I chose to take the tuna due to the versatility as a tandem as well as an amazing solo kayak and it didn’t dissapoint. The fishing was good as I limited out on Redfish each day. Also caught a couple of Skip Jack on the fly rod and had a large Jack Cravelle pull me around for over twenty minutes before breaking off at the boat. The best part of the trip was setting the Tuna up as tandem and acting like a guide as I paddled my daughter around letting her fish all day. I can’t wait to go back next year.
