The article focuses on backwoods travel and a kayak fishing adventure for brook trout in the remote North Maine Woods in the form of a self-supported float of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway in the Jackson Kayak Coosa. I’ve always felt that no road trip is complete without a kayak on the roof. We always hear the cliche about how ‘it’s not the destination, it’s the journey’. Well, sometimes, the destination is the start of the journey! The editors at Overland Journal have been kind enough to provide us with a pdf of the article to share here. A big thanks goes out to them, and please check them out if you enjoy great imagery, writing, and inspiring adventures from around the world. http://store.overlandjournal.com/back-issues/ Now get off the computer and go have an adventure of your own!
