2013 All Star ROCKS the White Nile by stephenwright | Feb 19, 2013 | Whitewater | 2 comments I just returned home after my 4th trip to Uganda. Uganda is by far my favorite winter playboating destination: warm water, big waves, big rapids, tropical paradise of birds, animals, and plant life, easy logistics, and great paddlers from all over the world make a trip to the White Nile a must-do for anyone who like to freestyle kayak. This year I was able to take my 2013 All Star, and I was blown away! It’s so fast that the when the levels weren’t quite right, I could still enjoy every wave as though it was perfect. Big take-offs, super loose grinding, and big water forgiveness made this my best trip yet! The Rockstar may be the kind of the hole, but the All Star is mind-blowing on waves and downriver ease. Enjoy the photos!!! Live from Golden, CO, Stephen Wright [nggallery id=529 blog=1] 2 Comments Butler Cox on March 13, 2013 at 12:01 am Very majestic shots…a budding James Blalog with that monkey.
