In Love with the Cuda 12! by Henry Jackson | Feb 18, 2013 | Cuda, Fishing, Freshwater, Freshwater Fishing, rivers, Saltwater, Saltwater Fishing | 0 comments Searching for the all-purpose, do it all, go anywhere kayak? I was too. Then I paddled the Cuda 12 and found it! This beauty of a boat is a lightweight, fish hunting machine that is comfortable chasing redfish in the bay or carp in the ditch. I love this boat because of it’s 12 foot length is easily loaded and unloaded from the roof rack or the back of the truck and can be carried at all times for those last-minute-I’m-going-to-be-late-for-work fishing trips. With the stability and speed of it’s bigger brother and the handling of a river runner, I can comfortably paddle this boat in the rocky rivers of Shoal Bass country and the marshy flats that are home to Redfish, Snook, and Speckled Trout. At 6’3” and 180lbs, nobody calls me tiny, I’m a large guy. That being said, I am entirely comfortable standing and casting a fly rod from the Cuda 12 in a variety of water conditions that would induce pucker-factor if I was in anything but a Jackson. The Cuda 12 has a permanent place on my roof rack and is always ready for quick evening runs to the river, lake, or long drives to the coast. This boat excels! And the desert camo is pretty sweet too.. Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
