The Jackson Factory

We made the trek down to the Jackson factory today to pick up some boats. Standing in the parking lot getting our legs back after a 5 hour road trip. Bee bopping across the parking lot comes EJ. I was quite surprised to see the man himself come out and shoot the breeze with us for a half hour like we had been friends for years.

We loaded up our new 12′ Cruises and took a tour of the factory. This place was like Christmas, New Year’s, Disney Land and the fourth of July all rolled into one, at least for me.

Everyone we talked to at the shop was super cool. It was easy to see the great care that goes into every boat. These guys and gals at the factory obviously take great pride in what they make. They truly do build it like it was their own.
