At the River Bassin’ Knoxville tournament my first hookup of the day was with a 20”, 5 pound plus smallmouth which smoked a Bull Shad Swimbaits Balsa Bull topwater bait. When I got her close the Kilory, I took my focus away from the fish momentarily to ready the net when she surged toward the boat and jumped, throwing the hook.
