Been a long wait but the UK Jackson fishing team have arrived in Sweden, after a 2.5hr flight and a 10hr drive we are now at our camp for the holiday. It was’nt long before we were on the water, today’s target Perch and Pike from the shallow lake margins. Armed with shallow divers and surface frogs we worked the reed line and snags for the Pike, Mark Radcliffe landed the first Pike, only small but was great to see the first fish!

Pike of 15cm!!!

Being this far north means it doesn’t get dark so fishing at midnight is no problem!
