Kayakfishing in Norway, Roan. Part I by Jan Liska | Jul 19, 2014 | Czech Republic, Norway, UK | 0 comments So after a 35 hour drive from Prague we finally arrived to Hongsand village near Roan, Norway. We were greeted by the local man Per Gypling. The next day, after a bit of rest, we went out to the sea with our mothership. It was my first time fishing for pollack and I love it. After some experiments I found out that fast retrieve with softbaits or trolling was the way to go. We hit some mackerel too and also cod. But still looking for bigger fish.
