Purtis Creek Outing in the Big Tuna’s by Team Palovik | Jul 25, 2014 | Big Rig, Big Tuna, Cuda, Fishing, Fishing Tournament, Freshwater, United States | 0 comments Jackie (my wife) and I run a little tournament trail here in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. This month’s location was on Purtis Creek State Park. This is a great kayak lake on about 915 acres. This lake is stocked with Florida strain Large Mouth Bass, and can grow to the lake record of 13.1 pounds, if not larger. The lake is covered with a little bit of everything, trees, grass and docks. Had a great time, got to try out the trolling motors and Micro Power Pole on the Big Tuna’s. these kayaks make great tournament boats and have a live well option as well, both of these kayaks have aerated live wells. This lets us fish all the tournaments in the area. Enjoy Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
