Summertime on the Florida Flats by Alan L Ryland | Aug 4, 2014 | Big Rig, Fishing, JK Team Posts, Saltwater Fishing | 0 comments The “dog days” of summer can be the most difficult time of year to fish the flats of East Central FL…..but also the most rewarding. High water temps can make for dirty water and sluggish fish. Get on the water early, use lures which imitate bait fish such as mullet and pogies, and most of all…..stay hydrated. So far this summer has been a pretty good one for me and the Big Rig has proven itself to be an incredibly versatile kayak. Unsurpassed stability, ample space and storage, and very easy to paddle and maneuver for its size. Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
