Yellowfin Tuna in a Cuda 12…West Coast Style

We decided to take the kayaks offshore on a little mother ship trip, we stopped just East of the 302 in Mexican waters in a school of porpoise.  Starting chumming, launched the kayaks and started to explore.  It didn’t take long to find boiling tuna crashing on bait.   We were able to get in front of the school and it was on- YFT hook up.  Conditions were a bit sloppy out there but the Cuda 12 was great in the low seated position took the swells fine when we were on the YFT sleigh ride!
