Quick Trip

Got out in the big rig on the big water(Ohio River) this week one evening. Only brought one little smallie to hand but it was nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall colors and cool temperatures. Unfortunately that little rascal managed to avoid the camera.

One thing I’ve noticed about the big rig while fishing big lakes or the Ohio or other large rivers is how well it handles the wake from other boat traffic. It’s stable enough to be standing when a barge goes by! I don’t reccomened it but it can be done. Of course always have your PFD on just in case things wouldn’t work out in your favor!
