Clare Glens Race by Barry Loughnane | Mar 3, 2017 | Internationalisation, Ireland | 0 comments Last weekend saw the Clare Glens race make a return to the calender in the Jackson Kayak Irish Whitewater Race League. After a year off due to water levels not coming quite right it was a welcome sight seeing the rain roll in and the river rise come race day. It was a clean sweep of the podium places for the Large Zen on the day! I managed to take first with some clean lines followed by David Higgins & Lucien Schreiber in second & third. After the time trial it was back to the top for the boater x! This was by far the longest boater x I have ever done. Nine minutes later we were at the take out with first & second unchanged while Kevin Cahill knocked Lucien out of third to take the last podium place. Check out the some highlights of the boater x below! Next up is Galway Fest on the 11th & 12th of March. Check out the event website for all the details! https://galwayfest.wordpress.com/ Photos thanks to Diarmaid Moloney View this post on Instagram Glens race was awesome, glens boater x even better???? @jackson.kayak @jackson.kayak @galway_fest @i_canoe @adventuretechnology @predator_water_air @squarerock_inspirationalstuff A post shared by Barry Loughnane (@barry.loughnane) on Feb 28, 2017 at 2:50pm PST Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
