Gear Tie Down Tip by Eric Atkins | Sep 14, 2017 | Fishing, Instructional | 0 comments Here is a quick and inexpensive tip to keeping your rods and paddles sorted during your fishing trips. I use Nite-ize Gear Ties to keep my rods separated from other fishing rods. These rubber-coated wires are easy to twist and tie around the rods, paddle shafts, and just about anything else. The 24-inch versions offer plenty of length to get a good hold around the rods. Two ties are required to hold long items such as rods and paddles. The Gear Ties are also great for keeping the paddles bound together. This cuts down on the paddles clanking and slapping around on each other and makes for an all-in-one solution to move the entire lot at one time. One the water, they can be used to secure your fishing rods to KKrates, BlackPaks, and milk crates as well. Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
