Hawg Trough Hack by Sean White | Jan 2, 2018 | Fishing, Fishing Subjects, Internationalisation, Reviews, United States | 0 comments The Hawg Trough has become the tool of choice for CPR kayak fishing events. The Hawg Trough has a lot of appeal for a lot of reasons. But it does have one significant flaw for kayak fishing…it sinks. Fortunately fixing this shortcoming is cheap and easy! Simply get some 5/8 inch “backer rod” from your local home improvement store (less than $5 for enough to do several troughs). Simply cut it to length, and stuff it into the two channels in the back of your Hawg Trough. No adhesive of any kind is necessary. Your trough will now float!
