Hog Snatching in the FD by teamjk | Jul 19, 2018 | Coosa FD, Fishing | 0 comments What an awesome month July has been for bass fishing. East Texas is on fire and there are 0 signs of it slowing down. I know a huge contributing factor has been my Coosa FD. Just the stability, ease of pedaling, and deck space have made it a dream for flipping and pitching. I have been punching hydrilla mats and submerged hydrilla with amazing results. Texas has a program called the Share Lunker program. This has classes to it varying from fish that are 24″ or 8 pounds to 13+ pound fish. Texas will give you the option of donating the 13+ pound fish to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the use of breeding and stocking lakes in Texas. Check out the program online. Well from July 4-July 7 I caught 2 Share Lunkers, YES, 2! They were in the 24″ or 8# class and man was it exciting to fight those fish out of heavy hydrilla and not worry about flipping over, being unstable or losing my footing! I could not be happier with my Coosa FD. It delivers desired features to a kayak that I would have only dreamed of as a teenager wanting to get on the water. When in doubt take the Coosa FD out! – Dave Newman Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
