NEW VIDEO: Hooked on Wild Waters S4, E5, “River Bassin’ Youth on the Hooch”

This was one of the most unique episodes I’ve ever filmed, as I found myself at the Southeastern Youth Kayak Fishing Championship, where I got the chance to share my passion for wild waters with the next generation. I join the kids on the river and at the awards ceremony, where I am able to share a few encouraging words. Young Ian Shaw paddled and fished really well in the Skipper kayak! I also get a chance to talk with the founder of the organization, Steven Patrick. GA Power’s fisheries biologist Patrick O’Rouke joins us to share about the unique way that anglers and biologists are working more and more together these days, to achieve common goals. When it’s all said in done, I made some amazing new friends and caught some very solid river bass – a good day’s work on wild waters!
