Stop, It’s Slammer Time

Summer time too water fishing has always been a popular thing amongst anglers. This year I have been experimenting with throwing some larger topwater lures in my Jackson Coosa HD in hopes of enticing some bigger bits. 

The Coosa HD is a great all around platform for both bass and musky fishing throwing larger baits. It’s stable enough to stand in and lake fish but still offers great paddling ability when needed in some swifter waters that I like to fish. The perfect one two punch for a fishing kayak!

The M.S. Slammer is one lure I’ve been spending a lot of time with. It comes in both a 7” and 9” model and acts as a struggling fish on the surface. I highly recommend picking up one if you’re considering getting into the larger topwater/swimbait game. Check out the video/images below to see that the proof is in the pudding!
