Kayaking in the Shallows

Kayaks really shine in shallow water, because they can get into places power boats can’t. A lot of these fish back in the shallow pockets has no pressure at all and you can sneak right up on top of them with a kayak. I love getting in the shallows when a lake gets drawn down for winter pool. These fish will be stacked and you can catch them with back to back cast. In this video in the link below is an example of that. Getting in shallow waters is one of the best advantages a kayak has.
