Port Phillip Bay chasing flat head by teamjk | May 22, 2019 | Fishing, Video | 0 comments Quick clip of a few fish caught 17/3/19. Went out to port phillip bay in Altona chasing a of feed of flathead but could only manage to find the small ones along with a small pinkie. We had a lot of missed hooked ups where they would drop off half way through retrieval unfortunately, But all in all It was great to be out on the bay again. This time fishing with Josh from Pursuit_fishing. I had the Gopro mounted on top of my Berleypro orb light so it got a bit wobbly at time’s! (as its mounted with the railblaza star port) I’ll try fix that up for next trip! We also thought we we’re going to have an encounter with a couple of large boats that we’re heading straight for us but turned off around 100 or so meters away which left us to deal with their large wakes! Even though there was around 20 or so other yaks and paddle boarders in the area, I did have my flag on the rail blaza pole with orb light on top and we felt we were very visible. Make sure your always visible out there with your high vis flag and lights, also be mindful of what you’re wearing and be aware of your surroundings! – Craig Richards Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
