Aklins Island Bahamas on the Fly Pt. 1

In this episode of The Kayak Fishing Show with Jim Sammons I am joined by James McBeath from Jackson Kayak, we’re on Acklins Island in the Bahamas, where crazy winds are keeping us from getting out in the kayaks, so we opt to walk the flats and do some fly fishing for bonefish until the wind dies down.
This was the last shoot we were able to do before the big bad Covid shut us down. Was a blast fishing with James and having Jameson Redding there as our camera man. Wind was of course brutal and we didn’t even get on the kayaks for the first half of the trip other than for a couple hours. This is part one of the episode, part two will drop next Friday.
