Qui est-tu? Moi? Je suis devenu kayakiste, de plus en plus, un coup de pagaie à la fois. Tout débute par l’émerveillement et le plaisir, qui nourrit la persévérance nécessaire pour apprendre, qui en retour nourrit ce plaisir qui ne cesse de grandir.

Voici un petit témoignage vidéo de ma transformation, qui s’est amorcée par un coup de foudre, au rapide du Bonnet rouge sur la Haute Gatineau au Québec en 2004.

Je me sens privilégié d’habiter aussi près des Rapides de Lachine à Montréal. L’accessibilité à la Vague à Guy a bien servi à ma progression.
Je suis fier d’avoir partagé cette aventure avec la gang du club de Montréal (www.cckevm.org), ma 2e famille.
J’assume mon côté “groupie”, qui m’a amené à côtoyer ces kayakistes passionnés et de grands talents.

Who are you? Me? I became a freestyle kayaker, more and more with each stroke of the paddle.
It was love at first sight. Then with lot’s of practice came lot’s of learning and fun, which in turn fuels the passion to keep growing. #paddleforever

Here’s a little history of my transformation, which began at the Bonnet rouge rapid on the Haute Gatineau river in Quebec in 2004.
I feel privileged to live so close to the Lachine Rapids in Montreal. My proximity to “La Vague à Guy” has served my progression well.
I am proud to have shared this adventure with the Montreal kayak club www.cckevm.org, my 2nd family.
I’m not shy of my “groupie” side, which brought me to engage with many passionate, highly talented kayakers and great human beings.
