Wesley’s 2024 Rain Gauge Report

The spread sheets below are data from my rain gauge I have installed at my home in Elizabethton, TN. It is a true nerdy rain gauge measuring precipitation to the nearest 1/100th of an inch daily.

2024 turned out to be another less than an average year for rainfall for our area when comparing my data sets back to 2013. From the start of summer through the last half of the year was exceptionally dry overall. You can see the Hurricane Helene did make a major impact in rainfall total in late September.
