Coosa Modification – traction tape

Last evening I added another small addition to my Coosa – traction tape. The way I figure it, there will be many times when I will be standing in this outstanding boat. In addition, when I am fly fishing, I will probably be bare foot (taking off shoes and socks takes one more thing that fly line can wrap in). And since I will be bare foot, I figured a little traction on the standing deck cannot be a bad idea. So I went to my local department store and picked up the product you see below. It is the same stuff they put on stairs to add traction. The top side is much like a heavy grit sandpaper. It has a sticky back and with a little length cut, it fit perfectly in the Coosa.
