Base Camp Cullowhee Kayak Demo Day, March 19th

For anyone in the southeast looking to try out the latest and greatest in whitewater kayak designs your opportunity is quickly approaching! On Saturday, March 19th, Base Camp Cullowhee at Western Carolina University will be hosting their 6th annual Demo Day at the Eternity Hole on the East Fork of the Tuckaseegee. All of 2011s new boats from Jackson, Pyranha, Bliss-Stick, Wave Sport, Dagger, Liquid Logic, and Fluid will be available to demo. Jackson Kayak Team Member Justin Owen will be bringing the much anticipated Rock Stars as well as a few 2011 Heros for all to try. Demos will be available for the first half, with a Hometown Throwdown beginning at 2:30 pm. Pick your favorite boat from all of those available and strut your stuff in this world class hole. Anyone is welcome to participate, with award categories including best ride, biggest air, most powerful window shade, most ends, goofiest move, and the elusive Despeaux award!
Afterward, we will relocate to the Illusions Club at the WCU University Center for a participant raffle, pizza, and some quality paddling porn.
