1st Annual Ocoee Race Was a Success! by Will Richardson | Sep 28, 2009 | Whitewater | 0 comments October 28, 2009 Last Saturday was a cold morning. Really, the first cold day of the fall, but plenty of local boaters came out to race in the first top to bottom, 5 mile Ocoee River Race! There were categories for long boat, short boat in both men’s and women’s, single blade, and even a silver fox class for the older folks. But don’t be fooled, the silver fox winner was fast! The ladies were fast too, with the top 2 in the 34 minute range. There was controversy with the long boat times. I think they are going to race head to head to settle it once and for all. 🙂 All the times and info pasted from: http://tvccpaddler.com/index.php photo by David Levitt Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
