Best Keener Photos 2009!

It’s been another great summer:) 7 weeks of running the coolest
teen program around has left me tired, but PSYCHED about what we
achieved. Kids show up on the Ottawa for 3 weeks for fun, learning,
and paddling–they walk away with SRT and FA/CPR certs and as better
paddlers than they could have dreamed of becoming. Every week
features photo and video instruction as well as race, freestyle
competition, big water, scouting, and river running instruction. With
kayaking instructors like Nick Troutman, Clay Wright, Billy Harris,
Rush Sturges, Ruth Gordon, Joel Kowalski, Eric Jackson, (Irish) Neil
and Dave, and many more it’s been a privilege for me to be able to act
as head coach again. This year we were joined by students from all
over the world: New Zealand, Belgium, England, Mexico, Ireland, US,
Canada, and others.

Enjoy some photos! We didn’t get to shoot quite as many as normal due
to the fact that it rained for the first month straight 🙂
